Hi - if you are browsing our website in late July 2021, can you note that we are currently building our new programme, which is slightly delayed as we are waiting for confirmation of dates from our training venue, post Covid. The aim of this course is to provide the underpinning knowledge and practical skills required to enable the Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults. By the end of the session you will be able to

• Outline the main legislation relating to the safeguarding of vulnerable adults

• Recognise the signs and symptoms of abuse

• Define the terms harm and abuse

• Describe different forms of harm and abuse

• Explain how to manage a disclosure or suspicion of abuse

• Demonstrate effective communication and documentation skills when dealing with harm and abuse

This training is available as in-house online training for your own staff

We will be happy to arrange an online session of this course for up to 12 of your staff, at a time that suits best for you. The costs can be as low as £25 per attendee.
